The news has been carrying the gas price story almost daily. But it all sounds so much like the last spike a couple of years ago. And I doubt that anything will or can be done at the governmental level. The only thing that would bring prices down will be what so many of the economic talking heads have called 'demand destruction,' people simply stop buying as much. We will get a look at the prices tomorrow when we go out for Mom's yearly physical.
I finished transplanting the marigolds and the petite rouge lettuce a bit ago. After a break I will get some more seedlings started. Enjoy your Easter, everyone.

Gray day in Ohio. I marvel at your hard work and dedication to your gardening. I think I may have found a solution to my problem with my front flower beds. I tripped across seeds for shade-loving wildflowers. I'm going to give them a try. Hopefully, they will work. I've just about decided to paint my wrought iron railings when it gets a tad warmer and dryer. They look tacky and since I've no plans to move, I think I'm going to spruce things up a little. My next trick will be to talk my landlord into getting the stucco power-washed. Right.
Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! And many more!!!!
Hope you're romping it up for your B-day. Have a great one!
